Greatest Gift
I look in their eyes
And
delight to find
Only a
love within
Even
knowing no more
Of what’s
in store
Than the
moment they are in.
They host
no prejudice
No grudge
they hold
Their
spirits untouched by pride
They are what they be
And all
they know
Is that
they, they love us so.
Whether
rich or poor
They'd
never care
As long
as they with you are
See man's best friends
Will be
true to the end
Creation’s
best gift by far.
